Riyadh — Mubasher: Dar Almarkabah for Renting Cars Company (DS Rent) revealed the resignation of independent board member Saleh Khalaf Al Harthi as of 19 July 2026.

Al Harthi first joined the board on 17 May 2024, according to a bourse filing.

The board member submitted his resignation citing weak governance as the primary reason for his departure.

The company stated that the board of directors will take the necessary measures to appoint a replacement to fill the vacant seat in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

The name of the new appointee will be disclosed at a later date following the completion of official procedures.

The board expressed its appreciation to Al Harthi for his contributions and efforts during his tenure, which lasted for over two years.

DS Rent recently announced the resignation of two Audit Committee members, Ahmed Abdulmohsen Alsadoon as well as Khalid Muqbil Al Muqbil.
